TOUR DESCRIPTIONS
Olde River Ride - 10 MI
This short morning ride beckons you with it’s beauty. On the extremely flat and scenic route riders take from the Capitol District Plaza at 11th and Capitol. Take Capitol east to 10th St. Then take 10th St to Abbott and left to 11th St and head north to beautiful Carter Lake Park. The turn around is at the end of Carter Lake Park. Then return the same route back to the start-finish area at the Capitol District Plaza.
Riverside Ride - 25 MI
Amid beautiful scenery, cyclists will ride where historical trails and memories were made. The tour takes you thru Carter Lake Park then East to Pershing Dr. and past the Pershing Memorial Bridge before turning around at Forest Lawn Memorial Park located on the Mormon Bridge Road. Return is the same route back.
Tour De Fort - 42 MI
*Includes Gran Fondo
Beautiful route on the extremely flat and scenic route riders take from the Capitol District Plaza at 11th and Capitol. Take Capitol east to 10th St. thru Carter Lake Park to Fort Calhoun Park. Turn Around and head back on Omaha Trace Road then continue toward McKinley St back thru Carter Lake to the Start/Finish Area at 11th & Capitol St – The Capitol District Plaza for the Finish. Route is approx 42 miles.
Club Team Scoring
A team’s final score is the accumulation of all points earned by its Member Riders, one point for each mile ridden.
Trophies and Awards
Team Trophy to First place in the Club Division based upon each Club Team’s total points. A Token Appreciation Gift to all participants.
Support
The Corporate Cycling Challenge is a fully supported event with technical assistance provided by Olympia Cycle & Heartland React
Sag vehicles will be available along all routes. Food, water, and restrooms are also provided
Proceeds
The Corporate Cycling Challenge sends proceeds from the event to the Eastern Nebraska Trails Network for assistance in the development of trails in Greater Omaha and Eastern Nebraska
